When I'm not exploring new technologies or building out my homelab, you can usually find me:
- Unwinding: Gaming, catching up on TV series, and spending quality time with my family.
- Exploring & Capturing: Out on motorcycle rides, carving canyons, and practicing photography.
- Learning: Constantly diving into personal engineering projects and fresh ideas.
History
- My parents put a computer in my bedroom in 1994 when I was 6. It was an old 486 that ran MS-DOS. My favorite games were Lode Runner and Prince of Persia.
- We subscribed to Jaring in 1995. I still remember the dial-up sound.
- 14 - 17, I played a lot of video games. My favorites included Ragnarok Online, C&C and StarCraft.
- At 22, I graduated and joined Intel Corporation.
- At 23, I bought my first car, Toyota Celica ZZT231. I still have it, and it is my daily driver.
- At 24, I bought my first house. It was a small terrace in Juru, Penang.
- At 27, I built my first PC, a hexa-core AMD Ryzen 2600 with GTX1080Ti. It was a beast back then.
- At 28, I joined Broadcom Limited.
- At 29, I built a total of 9 mechanical keyboards and started my homelab during Covid.
- At 30, I gave myself a birthday present of a 2010 Yamaha R6. Among a few other motorcycles I own, this is my favorite.
- At 32, I built my dream SFF using a FormD T1 case, AMD Ryzen 5800X, and NVIDIA RTX 3080.
- At 34, I started retrogaming. I own a Steam Deck, PS Vita and RG35XX-H
- At 35, I launched my 2 micro SaaS projects, a tax relief tracker and fuel efficiency calculator.
- At 37, I bought a Honda ADV160 as my daily workhorse.

- I've been to approximately 7 countries, some of which I have forgotten, many of which I would like to revisit.
- 2009I visited Singapore.

- 2018Road trip / getaway Hatyai, Thailand.
- 2019Explored the temples of Siem Reap, Cambodia, and the night markets of Taipei, Taiwan.
- 2020I traveled barely out of town. I stayed in focusing on home improvements.
- 2022I rebuilt my homelab using PVE on bare metal.
- 2023Revisited Hatyai, Thailand.
- 2024Immersed in Japan's history and food scene across Kyoto and Osaka.
- 2025I visited Tianjin and Beijing, China experiencing my very first true winter chill.
